RECOMMENDATION: (Summary) Pass a motion to approve the final contract amount of $1,464,272.76, which is 0.16% under the original contract amount, accept the work, and authorize final payment.
PROJECT NOTICE/JUSTIFICATION: Under this project, the contractor provided large diameter sanitary sewer inspection using robotic technology to deteriorated sewer collection systems throughout the City.
DESCRIPTION/SCOPE: This project consisted of large diameter sanitary sewer inspection using robotic technology. The project was awarded to CSI Consolidated, LLC dba Clean Serve, LLC with an original contract amount of $1,466,575.00. The Notice to Proceed date was 07/30/2015 and the project had 730 calendar days for completion.
LOCATION: This work order project was located at various locations within Council Districts A, B, C, F, G, H, I and J.
CONTRACT COMPLETION AND COST: The contractor, CSI Consolidated, LLC dba Clean Serve LLC, has completed the work under the contract. The contract was completed within the contract time. The final cost of the project is $1,464,272.76, a decrease of $2,302.24 or 0.16% under the original contract amount. Less traffic control was needed than anticipated.
MWDBE PARTICIPATION: The MWDBE goal for this project was 4.50%. According to the Office of Business Opportunity, the actual participation was 4.30%. The contractor was awarded an “Satisfactory” rating from the Office of Business Opportunity.
