ORDINANCE establishing the north and south sides of the 4500 block of Woodside Street, within the City of Houston, Texas, as a special minimum lot size block pursuant to Chapter 42 of the Code of Ordinances, Houston, Texas - DISTRICT I - GALLEGOS

In accordance with Section 42-197 of the Code of Ordinances, the property owner of 4534 Woodside Street, Tracts 2 and 3, Block 33, of the Eastwood Subdivision initiated an application for the designation of a Special Minimum Lot Size Block (SMLSB). The application includes written evidence of support from the owners of 62% of the block. The Planning and Development Department mailed notifications to thirteen (13) property owners indicating that the SMLSB application had been submitted. The notification further stated that written protest must be filed with the Planning and Development Department within thirty days of mailing. Since no protest was filed, in accordance with the Code, no action is required by the Houston Planning Commission, and the application may be submitted directly to City Council for consideration. The Planning and Development Department recommends that City Council adopt an ordinance establishing a Special Minimum Lot Size of 5,148 square feet for the 4500 block of Woodside Street, north and south sides.
