ORDINANCE establishing the east and west sides of the 100 block of North Eastwood Street, within the City of Houston, Texas, as a special minimum lot size block pursuant to Chapter 42 of the Code of Ordinances, Houston, Texas - DISTRICT H - CISNEROS

In accordance with Section 42-197 of the Code of Ordinances, the property owner of 109 North Eastwood Street, Lot 6, Block 15, of the Navigation Subdivision initiated an application for the designation of a Special Minimum Lot Size Block (SMLSB). The application includes written evidence of support from the owners of 62% of the block. The Planning and Development Department mailed notifications to sixteen (16) property owners indicating that the SMLSB application had been submitted. The notification further stated that written protest must be filed with the Planning and Development Department within thirty days of mailing. Since no protest was filed, in accordance with the Code, no action is required by the Houston Planning Commission, and the application may be submitted directly to City Council for consideration.

The Planning and Development Department recommends that City Council adopt an ordinance establishing a Special Minimum Lot Size of 4,855 square feet for the 100 block of North Eastwood Street, east and west sides.
