RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the abandonment and sale of four 14 foot-wide utility easements and two 10 foot-wide utility easements, all located within the Wayside Village Subdivision, Section 2, out of the Eli Noland Survey, A-600. Parcels SY18-037A through SY18-037F
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Eleuterio Duran of IDS Engineering Group, on behalf of Woodmere Development Co., Ltd., (Aaron B. Alford, Vice President Land and Development), the underlying fee owner, requested the abandonment and sale of four 14 foot-wide utility easements and two 10 foot-wide utility easements, all located within the Wayside Village Subdivision, Section 2, out of the Eli Noland Survey, A-600. The easements are void of any utilities and excess to the City’s needs. The property owner, Woodmere Development Co., Ltd., plans to construct single-family homes.
Woodmere Development Co., Ltd., has completed the transaction requirements, has accepted the City's offer, and has rendered payment in full.
