The Houston Parks and Recreation Department recommends City Council appropriate additional funds and approve an amended and restated Interlocal Agreement with the Houston Parks Board LGC to provide additional funding for one of the park projects that were the subject of the original agreement.
The additional appropriation is needed due to higher than estimated lowest construction bid for the Lee LeClear Tennis Center Court Lighting project (Park Sector 8). The revised project costs are shown below:
