ORDINANCE amending City of Houston Ordinance Nos. 2013-353 passed April 24, 2013, as amended, and 2016-340 passed April 27, 2016, as amended, which authorized the submission of the 2013 and 2016 Annual Action Plans to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, including the applications and budgets for the Community Development Block Grant Program, among others

The City of Houston (City), through its Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD), is proposing to amend the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Summary Budgets under the 2013 and 2016 Annual Action Plans.

In accordance with HUD’s Citizen’s Participation Plan (CPP) regulations, the City is required to amend components of its Consolidated Plan/Annual Action Plan when a reallocation of funds increases or decreases the budget of an activity by more than 25%.

The following Substantial Amendments to the CDBG Budgets are necessary to reallocate funds for the rehabilitation of multifamily developments.
