On January 4, 2017, Council approved Ordinance 2017-002 which postponed or consolidated council meetings based on holidays and other scheduling conflicts. At that time the meeting for the week of Nov 6th was consolidated onto Tuesday November 7th due to Veteran's Day at the end of the week. However this failed to take into account Election Day occuring on the 7th. Because of this oversight Council is now asked to approve an amendment to move the consolidated session from November 7th to November 8th, 2017.
Council approval is recommended.
