SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: The General Services Department recommends approval of a Purchase and Sale Agreement between The Buffalo Bayou Partnership (Seller) and the City of Houston (Purchaser), for the purchase of 23,400 square feet (0.54 acres) of land, located at 4618 Clinton Drive, (Sector 11) for a purchase price of $101,800 00, plus additional acquisition expenses for the Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD).
HPARD currently owns land east and west of 4618 Clinton Drive, known as Japhet Creek Greenspace. This acquisition will expand the future park site and make the site contiguous.
