RECOMMENDATION: (Summary) It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the abandonment and sale of a 6 foot-wide water line easement and an 8 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement, in exchange for a consideration of $3,100.00 minimum fee plus conveyance to the City of a 10 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement, all within Lot 8, Block 3, located in the Broad Oaks Addition, out of the Chas. Sage Survey, A-697. Parcels SY16-086A, SY16-086B, and DY16-075
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Jake Patrick, Vernon G. Henry & Associates, 3050 Post Oak Boulevard, Suite 450, Houston, Texas 77056, on behalf of Abercrombie Custom Homes, L.P. (Abercrombie Custom Homes, GP, LLC [B.A. Abercrombie Jr., Partner], General Partner), requested the abandonment and sale of a 6 foot-wide water line easement and an 8 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement, in exchange for conveyance to the City of a 10 foot-wide sanitary sewer easement, all within Lot 8, Block 3, located in the Broad Oaks Addition, out of the Chas. Sage Survey, A-697. Abercrombie Custom Homes, L.P., the abutting property owner, plans to incorporate the subject easements into its property for construction of a single-family residence. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved this request.
Abercrombie Custom Homes, L.P. has complied with the transaction requirements, has accepted the City’s offer, and has rendered payment in full.
