RECOMMENDATION: (Summary) It is recommended City Council approve an ordinance authorizing the abandonment and sale of a 241 square-foot sanitary sewer easement, adjacent to Lot 21, Block 1, located within the Usener Addition, out of the John Austin Survey, A-1, in exchange for a consideration of $11,207.00. Parcel SY17-015
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: Neal Wade, the abutting property owner, requested the abandonment and sale of a 241 square-foot sanitary sewer easement, adjacent to Lot 21, Block 1, located within the Usener Addition, out of the John Austin Survey, A-1. Thereafter the abutting property ownership changed from Neal Wade to THXGE Holdings, LLC (Emily Trout, Manager). THXGE Holdings, LLC plans to re-plat the two adjoining lots for future redevelopment. The Joint Referral Committee reviewed and approved this request.
THXGE Holdings, LLC, has complied with the transaction requirements, has accepted the City’s offer, and has rendered payment in full.
