RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Purchase and Sale Agreement between B BUNGE, LLC (Seller) and the City of Houston (Purchaser) for the purchase of 4,505 square feet of land located at 910 West Dallas Street, Houston, Harris County, Texas for the Houston Parks and Recreation Department, and appropriate funds.
SPECIFIC EXPLANATION: The General Services Department recommends approval of a Purchase and Sale Agreement between B BUNGE, LLC (Seller) and the City of Houston (Purchaser), for the purchase of 4,505 square feet of land located at 910 West Dallas Street, for a purchase price of $337,875.00 plus additional acquisition expenses for the Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD).
HPARD currently owns approximately 27,000 sq. ft. of land on West Dallas Street for a future park and desires to purchase this property, located west of the existing land, to expand the future park site.
