In accordance with Section 28-303 of the Code of Ordinances, the Braeburn Valley West Civic Association, Inc. initiated an application for the designation of a Prohibited Yard Parking Requirement Area. The application includes a letter of support from the president of the Braeburn Valley West Civic Association, Inc.
The Planning and Development Department mailed notices on November 19, 2015 to 145 property owners advising them that the prohibited yard parking requirement area application had been made.
The notification further stated that property owners opposing the designation must file written notice with the Planning and Development Department within twenty days of the date of mailing.
Since no protests were timely filed and the application meets the requirements, the Director is forwarding the application to City Council for consideration.
The Planning and Development Department recommends that the City Council adopt an ordinance establishing a Prohibited Yard Parking Requirement Area.
